National Day holidays ended. 3 days of jam-packed activities really. It's going to be one hell of a long entry! Let's start.
Friday:
I had no school celebration. Well, the celebrations cum carnival is held on Saturday in my school. So I spent my day by waking up later than usual. Hehe. Yes such a longing feeling ok! Haven't been able to do that for a looooooong time. In the afternoon, I had my dental appoinment. So I drove and picked Sadik up for my appoinment which after then we ate and picked up my dad from work. And later, I had to go home fast as I had tuition at 6. Nothing fun really except getting to see him. Hehe.
Saturday:
Ah the jam-packed day ok. At the end of this day, i was super exhausted and drained out. Foremost, I had the school celebration till 12. There was a lot of activities carried out such as singing, dancing and games played for the National Day celebration. No complains cause I had fun. As it was my last day, most of the kids wanted to either hold my hand or walk beside me or sit with me. They were sooo cute. =) Thinking of them makes me smile. Even after two days, I seriously am not used to the fact that I'm not surrounded by students anymore. Just adults. Plain adults. So yes, took photos and gave out presents. It was a short stint at North Vista Primary but leaving has never been good with me. There were good memories and friends that are forged.
Next, was to rush to help my aunt prepare her daughter's engagement. No othe rrelatives were there. So luckily, my dad and I were there to help them prepare and took out the tables and chairs and getting the food. Trust me, I had a full workout half the day ok. No wonder my legs were aching the next day. Eh wait, they are still aching ok! After which, we went home to bathe and get ready in nice clothes. Nice from the waist up ok. Cause I was lazy to wear heels up so I left my heels in the car and wore slippers up. Haha. Just an engagement right? BUT I DON"T EXPECT MY FRINDS TO DO THAT OK FOR MY ENGAGEMENT! Haha. Double standards. Well, I had an excuse cause I'm supposed to be helping out so shoes worn must be easily put on and taken out.
Around 7.30pm, Sadik fetched me to bring me over to his good friend's wedding dinner. Luckily, we were on time. If we had been 10 minutes late, the food would all be gone! We'll be only left with desserts! Now, that won't be fun would it? Haha. So we stayed and took pictures and chatted with his long-time friends. When the dinner ended, we brought the conversations up to his house. Well, we wanted to further caryr out the gathering at Jalan Kayu, but I couldn't make it as I had to go abck to my aunt's hosue to fetch my parents. And it was a little midnight by then! Haha.. But I had a blast talking and laughing till I teared a bit with his friends. Laughing at me or with me, what matters is we all had fun! Haha.. I bet my friends will not be surprised at the 'laughing at me' part. Haha. So then I made my way home (more like sent by Sadik).
Sunday:
National Day! Happy Birtydy Singapore! haha.. Sounds familiar, Fana? Hahahaha.. So on this joyous occasion, Sadik and I had two plans. Since I received an sms about free entry into Night Safari for the first 2009 people, we could go there OR watch 'Jangan Pandang Belakang Congkak' which is a parody of two ghost stories. Well, we chose the free one as it's not always that we get to go Night Safari right? Furthermore, for free! haha. Got to confss that it was the first time both of us had been to Night Safari, so of course we were quite confused or unsure with our surroundings. Since it was free, we took the tram. We thought spending little bit won't hurt. And then a picture of us were taken nd had to pay MORE to get the picture. Wouldn't have wanted the picture if not for our first trip there. Seriously, not really worth the money. But, at least there's a memory of us together right? Haha. So we walked and looked at the animals in the dark. And I bumped into Afzal! He is working there currently! So we chatted a bit and made our way to look at the animals. After awhile, I got really nauseous and tired especially with the crowd. There was just too many people ar seriously. I felt like vomitting real abd as we were queing for the Night Show. So, we skipped it to Sadik's disappoinment. Haha. Well, what to do. i guess my body just wasn't strong enough to hold the exhaution of walking about and the suffocation of too many tourists and people around me. But in all, I;m glad I spent the day with him doing something both of us have not done before. I guess, there's always a first time for everything right? =p
Ok so that's for the holidays. My school has started. It feels so different without my usual people. It feels so different that now the people who I smile to are not my usual friends or acquaintances. I'm the only cross-over who is taking physics so I have my own unique timetable with so many breaks in between. On the first day, I entered a year 2 class. Since it is a year 2 class, they already knew each other. And so when I walked in, all eyes were diverted to me. They stared at me for a long time ok. It's as if I'm some alien. So I just plopped myself at the back and played with my hp. No, I'm not feeling the trying-to-be-sociable-butterfly so I just kept to myself. Well, no use making so many friends as all my classes are with different groups. I have 2 year 1 physics modules, 1 year 2 physics modules, 1 year 3 physics modules. How to make close friends? Haha. Oh wells, I'm here to study and get the best I can get. So, no excuses and I'll try to stop complaining by the end of this week.
